Step 1: The Kickoff Meeting
Our journey together begins with an in-depth design kickoff meeting around the 7 month mark out from your wedding. During this call, we dive deep into your vision, discussing everything from your favorite colors and design ideas to your budget and priorities. This initial conversation is crucial; it allows us to understand what matters most to you, setting the foundation for your personalized design. We often use Pinterest boards and inspo the couple has gathered to start building the vision.
Step 2: Creating a Custom Mood Board
Once we’ve gathered your ideas, we move on to crafting a custom mood board. This visual tool showcases inspiration photos that align with your wedding vision, along with a carefully curated color palette. It serves as a canvas for your style, capturing the essence of your desired atmosphere and theme. We want you to feel excited and inspired as you see your ideas starting to take shape!
Step 3: The Design Proposal
With your mood board approved, we transition into creating a comprehensive design proposal. This multi-page document is where the magic happens! It includes visual mock-ups of how each aspect of your wedding will come together, along with a detailed sourcing of vendors that fit within your vision and budget.
We consider every detail: from stationery and rentals to lighting, dance floor designs, backdrops, florals, favors, and even the cake. Our goal is to present a cohesive vision that encompasses all elements of your wedding, piecing them together into a stunning proposal complete with a detailed list of rentals and pricing for your review. This creates a one stop shop for you to get an overall idea of costs and what might fit within your budget.
Step 4: Review and Final Adjustments
After you’ve had a chance to digest the proposal, we’ll meet again to discuss it in detail. This collaborative session allows you to make any tweaks or adjustments, ensuring that the design reflects your vision perfectly. Once you’re thrilled with the plan, we send off all contracts and invoices for you to sign, moving us one step closer to your big day!
Step 5: Finalizing the Details
One of the standout features of our design package is the ongoing support we offer as your wedding date approaches. Once you have your final guest count, we assist with adjusting rental orders to fit your needs. We also provide help with stationery reviews and creating floor plans, ensuring that every detail is accounted for and that your day runs smoothly.
